LAURA GRAVA
Owner And Director
Hi, I’m Laura, a personal trainer with a unique blend of experience in both fitness and healthcare. With a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, over 13 years as a registered nurse, most of that in the emergency department and more than 8 years working in the fitness industry, I bring a deep, well-rounded understanding of the human body to every session. What led me to personal training wasn’t just a love for movement, but frustration. Over the years in emergency care, I saw countless patients come through the doors with preventable conditions. Issues that could have been significantly improved or avoided altogether through strength training and structured exercise. That realization pushed me to step out of the hospital and into the community, where I could help people before they ended up in a hospital bed. I firmly believe that building strength isn’t just about looking fit, it’s about improving your quality of life.
More muscle and better movement mean fewer injuries, more energy, and greater resilience—both physically and mentally. Strength training has the power to reduce pain, improve mood, manage chronic conditions, and help you live a fuller, more active life. My approach is grounded in science and shaped by real-world experience. I’ve helped clients avoid knee replacements, manage or even reverse pre-diabetes, and overcome chronic back pain, all through evidence-based, personalized strength programs. Whether you're looking to move better, feel stronger, or take control of your long-term health, I’m here to help you do it the smart, sustainable way.
